The Belmond Medical Center project consisted of the construction of a new 18-bed Critical Access Hospital, a 55,300 square foot two-story, steel framed, masonry clad addition to the hospital, and remodeling of 11,000 square feet of specific areas of the existing hospital building.  The addition includes a full finished basement of poured concrete wall structure.  The first floor has public spaces, surgery, and emergency receiving and treatment areas.  The second floor has inpatient rooms with support spaces.

There is a helistop on the rooftop.  Building materials consist of concrete floor and roof decks on steel deck base, steel joist and beam structure.  The interior finishes are Gypsum wallboard with vinyl wall covering and painted finishes.

Construction began in August 2010 and both the new and remodeled spaces were completed by December 2012.
