Northfield Senior Care Campus

For 5 years Yanik, as Developer and Design Builder for Benedictine, the Yanik team worked with the City of Northfield, St. Olaf College, Northfield Hospital & Clinics and Benedictine management on a multi phased 21- acre project located on the St. Olaf campus and immediately across from the Northfield Hospital & Clinics. The first phase, a new 3 story 98-unit state of the art facility, was opened on December 1, 2019. The project includes 25 memory care units, 24 assisted living apartments, 48 independent living apartments, one guest apartment and 25 underground parking spaces for its resident use. The facility features 2 formal dining areas, chapel, library, pub, 2 spas and separate laundry facilities built into all apartments and in central areas of the memory care unit. The first phase was built on 5.5 acres and has 105,000 square feet. This project was constructed by the Yanik construction team members in 14 months even though the Northfield area and the entire State of Minnesota experienced the wettest, windiest, snowiest weather ever recorded.
